The streets are open again

25 to Life lost its online service years ago. This project brings it back with a new server written from scratch that speaks the game's original protocol, so the game itself needs no changes beyond one line in your hosts file.

What works

• Accounts, friends and clans
• Hosting, finding and joining games
• Ranked rounds with ratings, the leaderboard, player and clan stats
• Medals, rank badges and the lobby stars, as in 2006

Fair play

Every player's game reports the result of a ranked round. The server only counts a round when the reports agree and follow the game's own rules, and it holds rounds that look farmed until an admin has looked at them. Cheated results can be reversed.
